Many Chinese netizens calledSakaian 「international beggar」 after she tweeted on Monday on Sina Weibo to greet Chinese fans a happy New Year with payment links and a picture of her smiling attached. The links included one for fan club registration, one for Chinese mobile and online payment platform Alipay, and a third for Chinese bank card UnionPay.

1月7日，久違的日本女星酒井法子在微博上曬美照，並且發文：「粉絲們新年好~我是酒井法子，感謝大家去年對我的厚愛，今年也請多多關照。」然而，這條微博卻附上了註冊粉絲會員的鏈接和幾種付款途徑的鏈接。

點開鏈接會跳出了一個商品展示頁面，售賣的商品是「酒井法子官方粉絲網站季度會員」，售價90元人民幣。
